The Healing Arc is working with the University of Guelph on a project to research the uses of Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoikes L.) and to develop growing practices in Canada.
In collaboration with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, The Healing Arc has conducted studies on the cultivation of oregano and the extraction of lutein from marigolds. Agriculture Canada is currently doing the analysis of Sea buckthorn seed oil, pulp oil and leaves.
The Healing Arc would like to acknowledge the support of the Agriculture Adaptation Council for their contribution to the research of Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) This is a Value Chain Project.
The Healing Arc, in conjunction with Digital Specialty Chemicals has successfully completed the synthesis of Androstenone (5 alpha-androsten-16-en-3-one) and Androstenol (5 alpha-androsten-16-en-3 alpha-ol).
