The Healing Arc, a Canadian company founded in 1993 and incorporated in 1997, dedicates itself to providing superior products and unparalleled service to health care practitioners across North America.
The Ministry of Agriculture, the University of Guelph, and the Agriculture Adaptation Council all collaborate with us on our continuous Research and Development projects.
The Healing Arc commits itself to undertake projects which adhere to the philosophy of the Value Chain Concept. Our projects to date have included the growth and cultivation of Oregano, rich in carvacrol. We have also grown Marigolds (tagetes erecta) for the extraction and stabilization of the compound lutein.
CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECT
Sea Buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) – a deciduous shrub that produces yellow to orange berries. Sea Buckthorn has many nutraceutical properties and is a crop which can be grown on marginal land. The possibility that Sea Buckthorn could provide the base of a new industry for Canada requires that the best cultural practices for growing the plant be known and understood.
In addition to supplying the highest quality products at competitive prices to health care practitioners, The Healing Arc commits itself to innovative research and product development in Canada. Our goal is to supply and produce products that are in harmony with natural processes and that work to restore and support the body’s capacity to heal itself.
The Healing Arc focuses on impeccable research, professional support, and service. We let our products speak for themselves.
